Spanish Translator-Spanish Translation Services

Welcome to my site, I'm an Interpreter/Translator with 8+ years experience. My rates are often half that of an agency's, and as I don't work "in bulk,"--as many agencies do-- I can offer you a quality translation at a fraction of the cost. An agency will often work with an emphasis on quantity; they need to get as many projects done, as quick as they can in order to make a profit. I take on projects individually, and handle each with care and attention to detail.

If you are a speaker of another language you may be aware of the amount of horrible translations that are out there, and in print! Somehow this dreadful use of language, grammar, etc. makes it on to brochures, posters, news articles and documents of all sorts, and frankly at best they provide a good laugh to their readers. These translations are either the result of a poor grasp of one--or both--languages, a lack of care about the project, or a reliance on "machine translations," which may be the worst of them all.

With me you will find none of these; the success of your project in the target language is my bread and butter. I also have a life time of being bilingual in both languages, which is something not many translators can say. This and the fact I've assembled an excellent team of spanish translators to collaborate with makes spanishtranslator.ws, one of your best choices on the web for Professional Spanish Translations.

 Rates and other Info

Rates for English to Spanish and Spanish to English translations

***** My rates are generally in the .12 to .35 cents per word range, while generally on the lower side of this. (expect .12 to .15), for general correspondence and non specialized work. There may be higher rates for highly technical works, and scientific literature.

The theory behind this is that with more specialized language, the work increases in difficulty and effort. In the course of a translation some words and phrases may simply pass over to the other language, with very little effort, but other times either the wording or the language being used requires considerable time and effort, even to get a single word or phrase right. Translation is full of both such moments.

The other major factor in determining rates is the size of the project; larger projects will be cheaper on the per word scale.

Please note, In the event that I'm not available to work with you personally, I've assembled a team of the best translators I could find. This was done based on the quality of their work and areas of expertise. These include Medical, Legal, Marketing and Business, Biological Sciences, Humanities and more.
